    Rare '67-'68 911 Weber 40 IDS Carburetors - Rebuilt - +manifolds

Up for sale is a set of rare Weber IDS carburetors which were only available on the '67-'68 911S which have the extra enrichment jet on top, part numbers 40IDS3C & 40IDS3C1.

This particular set came out of an estate sale and appeared to be in good condition, but I decided to tear them down and freshened them up just in case. As it turns out they seem to have been rebuilt prior to storage as everything inside was in almost unused condition! They have now been torn down, cleaned up and rebuilt with fresh gaskets. One carburetor still has the original fuel line which I have left in place, but will include a small piece of fuel line to replace it with if you wish.

The #6 cylinder idle mixture screw was damaged on the body but has been repaired and is 100% functional. It also has what I believe to be the original plastic velocity stacks in good condition although one has a small chip and another one is badly broken off as seen in the pictures. They are not in concourse condition but would be perfect for someone trying to put together a correct early S car.

Also included are a set of intake manifolds, although they are not correct early S manifolds. Part numbers 901.108.321.1R, dated 1969. No additional throttle linkage is included, only what you see pictured.

Additional pictures are available at the following link which include some of the teardown: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resi...t=folder%2cJPG

Asking price is $5000 which includes shipping/insurance in the mainland US. Would also be interested in trading for a set of 911 Solex carburetors. Message me with any questions.
    Thanks
