    Is this the same person?
Sadly, Roger passed away, but he was an Orange County man who, as far as I am aware, never lived in SF at any point.

That’s really tragic. Too many good people have left us too early.

Update: I watched the video on him and the rebuild of his car. He sounds really special and what everyone there did for him was extraordinarily special too. Brought tears to my eyes.

It is not.... Roger Grago was a South/Bay/OC SoCal guy and great friend. He started in VW's and came over to Porsche's. He was once the SoCal RGruppe Groupemister (contact person/organizer) And he worked at one time as one of the parts managers for Porsche Motorsprots when it just broke off from Andial. He drove an aubergine '73 RS look that is now owned by a great guy in Colorado. Roger passed away Dec, 28th 2014 after a four year fight from a brain tumor...

One of the nicest guys I never met in person. That's my loss. Alway willing to take a question or find an answer with a cheerful tone. As my dad use to say: "Last of the nice guys"...

Clyde, I spoke too soon. My wife reminded me of an early trip we took to the Porsche Museum in Zuffenhausen shortly after it opened.
Lo and behold there is such a Porsche "colour" as Aborigine and here is a pic to prove it. This car was a present to Porsche AG from Porsche Cars Australia.
