    1969 Monaco GP

    I especially like the music. Compared to today, it's amazing how wide the 'track' looks. They were truly racing on the street back then, complete with curbs, sidewalks, lamp posts, etc. A few guardrails and haybails here and there.

    Well, the aspect ratio is compressed vertically so it does look even wider.

    That's part of it for sure, but I'm talking more about the perceived difference compared to today with the continuous barriers on both sides that seem to form a narrow tunnel.

    I noticed this in clips recently posted of the 1970 Monaco GP after the unfortunate passing of Jack Brabham. It's just shocking how much less it looks like a tunnel.
