How to change light bulb in Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio?

I've searched far and wide here and elsewhere, but haven't been able to find anything on how to do this. I found the obscure bulb the radio takes:

But nothing on how to change it. Anyone know the drill?

Hi, you have to take off the chrome bezel, and the part behind that whith the glass. Then set the dial to (here is the problem I don't remember whether it's left or right) the most (left/right) position.
Then you can take out the black part behind the scale (a small screwdriver will help) then you see the bulb - it is mounted at a slight angle and can be pulled out.
If you can take the radio out of the car it's easier as you can take the top lid off and see what you're doing.

There are just about as many different ways to change a light bulb in a Blaupunkt radio as there are different models. Take a picture of your radio and we can then suggest a way to do it.

    Ok
Turn the thing to the most left position
Press a knob, only so far that all are released out position. (Not one of the AM/FM... is pressed)
    Remove chrome bezel
    Remove glass (open from top)

Here is the point to lever with a small screwdriver (having the glass removed first)

pull out on the right side (a lip of it is in a small slot on the left side)

now move it to the right so that you can move it around the back of the needle (indicator? hand? don't know the english word)

If you haven't got it installed in your car you can remove the top cover and help getting the bulb out from the top.

TRY THE NEW BULB FIRST BEFORE RE-ASSEMBLY

    Then Re-assemble in reverse order

Thank you! Really appreciate it. This is the original radio to my car and has never been removed before, so I'm going to try to replace the bulb with the radio in.

It's right there in the title of the thread, the Frankfurt model. Or maybe there different variants of that model?

If your bulb looks like the one in the picture, then it is spring loaded so just push in and lift up reverse for install. Some also have a plastic white sleeve that the bulb sits in and the whole sleeve comes out (squeeze the sleeve together and pull out).

    Reviving this old thread

I cannot find a 7 volt bulb with the bA7s form factor. Looks like the choice is a 12v or 6v.
