    anyone use Wix filters

When buying Castrol 20W50 in 5 gallon containers at my O'Reilly Auto Parts store the guy said he would give me $5 off each container if I bought an oil filter. I ordered one and it's a Wix. Cost me $11.99. It has 6 holes (7, counting the big hole in the middle) like the old Purolators I bought years ago, not 4 like the Mann filters I get now. Anyone using Wix filters?

Good filters but I wouldn't use anything but Mahle on a 911.

Been using Wix "R" series filters exclusively for 10 years on 3 vintage race cars (none Porsche) and nothing but good.
