Radio face plate for boogered up early dash

This faceplate is the way to go if your dash was cut up to install a more modern radio in an early dash. Easy way to mount the correct radio in a modified dash. $80 shipped CONUS

Interested: is it made by Blaupunkt to fit their radios?

I really don't know who manufactured it. It did come with an early blaupunkt that I bought a while back.

Can you give us the measurement of the rectangle opening between
the radio shaft circles. When you say you had it on an early Blaupunkt
was it a blue dot with chrome trim around the dial?

I won't be able to take measurements until later in the week but if I remember correctly it came with an earlier radio not blue dot, more like a 67 radio AM FM SW or such

This is a correct face plate for blaupunkt radios, I have the same. The measurements of the opening are 9 cm long and 3,6 cm wide. I'm not sure if it's for Porsche.

It fits blaupunkt radios for sure, but I think it's for volkswagen

Didn't say it was porsche specific but a clean way to deal with a boogered up dash. I also thought it might look good to paint the main section black and leave the trim ring chrome

As long as the faceplate opening will take an early Blaupunkt it would be an alternative for a cut-up dash that had a modern radio in it, especially one with a wood dash.
