    Just bought a 69S

A month ago I bought a 69S that was missing it's injection. In all the paperwork for the car I found a receipt with a phone number so I called it. Called the number and it had a generic answering machine message on the other so I left a message. That day I received a return phone call from a man who turned out to have owned the car from 1980 to 2014.

In our conversation he mentioned when he sold the car to his surprise the guy was not interested in the original parts he had. I said, " what original parts"?

He says," I have all the original injection and original A/C parts. What's your address I will send them to you "

    What!!

He calls me earlier in the week and tells me he put everything in flat rate boxes but the big stuff like the air cleaner, etc. had to go in a larger box and will probably be to me next week while the three flat rate boxes would be to me in a few days.

Yesterday I found this on my door step

The heavy box had an 005 pump in it. Here are a few of the other tags on the side

    The other two boxes

What a guy and of course I am going to send him some money for this stuff. I always intended on tracking down all the parts to put the original injection and factory A/C back on the car anyway but to have the actual parts that came off the car is pretty cool.

Can anyone tell me the proper products to paint the airboxes on top of the throttle bodies?

The previous owner sent it to you for free????

Looks like you owe him a very good diner, and a couple of beers!!

What a lucky guy you are! A 69S, AND the OG parts back on the car!

    Pictures please.
