    Congratulations Southern On, Long Hoods

I would like to thank everyone for their support today. Although I didn't have time to count I am told we had over 30 cars out. Not too bad for an iffy day at best. I have to admit I had trouble pulling the car out of the garage with a slight drizzle in the air , but said what the heck , may be the last event she goes on this year. The Weather Gods did come through and I don't think we could have asked for a better day. Thanks again to everyone who came out and a special thanks to Robert for opening his shop to us all and for putting on the Great BBQ. Much appreciated. Judging by the response I had better start working on the next event . My goal for the next meet (in the Spring) is 40 cars !!! Hopefully many of us can get together for coffee before then.
    Thanks again for your support
    Terry

ps; I am told this could have been the "largest Long Hood /356 meet" of it's kind in Southern Ontario history. If you have any history let us know we may have to set our mark higher.

Thanks Terry for taking the time to arrange the event, it was nice meeting several long hood owners from our area. The drive up to Robert's shop was pretty nice, for a minute I thought the police were out there waiting to take you in.

Looking forward to the next get together.

Enjoy the balance of your weekend,
    Regards,
    Mike

And here are a few cars looking the other way.

Thanks Terry, for bringing us all together. What I most learned from this trip is that Ivory white needs to be in the mix next time !
I think it was Robert who mentioned that it was likely a Canadian record for long hoods.
