Adell clamp ribbon / rubber inserts

Has anyone found a source or solution for worn out, cracked, torn Adell clamp ribbon / rubber insert, what ever it is called. The metal clamps are fine and when re-plated can be reused and for originality, need to be reused. Most of the clamps are 15mm wide so the channel needs to be that wide, or 5/8". Some are wider but if I could find just the one size I'd be happy. All vintage clamps had black rubber. The rubber pictured is SAE 1/2", the clamps are 15mm. Thanks Gordon

I would just buy new clamps and use the rubber portion on the plated ones.

    Here's one choice http://www.nlaparts.com/store/licenc...mp-p-2303.html

Or, Ebay type in CLAMP, LOOP CUSHION to get over 100 listings, some real cheap to get the rubber cushion.

I went by my local Aircraft Spruce the other day, and have been meaning to drop in.

I will look more on eBay, the Yankee clamps at Aircraft Spruce come in different lengths but only 1/2" wide, just won't stretch over a 15mm wide clamp. I am looking at Norma clamps also. Gled

Since seeing this thread I haven't been to town to check sizes, but I seem to remember that ACE Hardware has a fairly good selection of these clamps.
