Thread: Value of Steel "S" Front Spoiler?

Value of Steel "S" Front Spoiler?

I have one I haven't used in years - ok, well... decades. It is in good shape with no rust. Obviously would need to be painted by the new owner.

I am curious if it is worth digging out of the parts pile...

You can buy them new from Porsche so based on condition price it down from there. Yes, it's worth digging out of the parts pile.

    New rules?

Price surveying in parts for sale category ok? Or as others have mentioned, a private online auction behind the scenes.

I have one of these too.

    Make offer.

It's really not top secret. I haven't seen a fair condition original S steel bumper sell for less than $1K for years.

    Sack up and pay, Kris.

You think it's expensive now? Just wait another year or two.

We're all sorting through our parts stash. I'm selling stuff at prices that would have seemed insane a year ago. The worst part is that if I hang on to all of the stuff for another year it would bring even more money. Right now I'm getting rid of as much as I can. A friend once said you never go broke taking cash money.

I really did miss the Fuchs escalation though.

Thanks for the link, Cliff - oddly I could not find it via search.
