    Color code 422 from 1972

    Hi,

    Looking for pictures of the dark brown color code 422 from 1972, any help?

    Henk,

    I cant see anything with a 422 code in Dr Brett's authenticity book and the only brown is Sepia in '72.
    You're sure its an oil flapper ?
    Maybe someone has a dealer paint/carpet book for '72 MY they can look at ?

    Possibly a paint-to-sample car. They usually have a "one-off" colour code.

    Is it the same car as in Pelican thread?
    Photos of the paint tag, and the VIN would be useful for my research.

    I was offered the car thru a broker, but I have already decided not to buy the car so I'll leave it here..
    Interesting color though..
