Color code plates 911 1969/1970 !!! With imprinted COLOR CODE !

    Hi All!
    There is sth new
I started reproduction of COLOR CODE PLATES.
They are printed on metal plates. Lettering, material stay in accordance with original from 1969/1970.
I can punch in your color code number. Production time is 2-4 days then.

Part number is probably: 9110100711 (I'm not sure)

    Costs:
    1) color code plate without punched numbers = $15
    2) color code plate WITH your punched numbers = $25

    Shipping:
$7 for whole world (usually it takes 7/9 days to USA)

If you got any questions please send me PM

    Cheers!

If you're going to get serious with this look into getting a type hand holder: http://www.pryormarking.com/marking-...d-holders.html

Your numbers will come out on a nice line like the factory stamps in one punch. You should also look into getting the correct font stamps as well!

    Hi Carl!
I really appreciate for the Link to pryor website. I send them a question for hand holder.
Now i`m using really old Font which were used in 60's/70's VW Group cars. They were also used by Porsche. On photo is only a sample. I will show you some more photos with corrected color code in next few days.

    Cheers!

    Hi,
How close is your font to the factory font? Here is an early 1970 paint ID tag (not mine - posted by someone else here on the forum).
Is it possible you can post a sample stamping using this exact Paint Code ID (2323-G) and post the results for comparison sake. Thank You.

I think the plates need to be black with silver letters and silver boxes. Porsche sells them as blank plates correct for 72/73 cars with the holes for the small rivets already in them.

It would be great if you could post a picture of your plate in this thread: http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...nt-code-decals

Just a word about this supplier: he does engine closing panel stickers that are 99.9% accurate. His prototypes had a typo and he immediately fixed it. The quality and prices of his work are truly outstanding. Most important, he communicates well and seems committed to making an excellent product. Although the stamping example is off, I'll bet he gets the proper size and font in short order.
