Help hooking up a Blaupunk Frankfurt.

Can anybody tell me how the factory would have routed the yellow power lead on a factory installed 1969 911 and where they ran it to? Ignition switch? Thanks For the Help! Jim

There may already be a yellow radio power wire installed. If no radio was installed the wire end would be stuffed back into the harness sheathing.

The car came with the radio installed at the factory(been in family since new) but was replace because in the early 80's it stopped working. Lucky almost all the original parts were saved including the radio.
I've looked everywhere down there and can't find anything like that and no wires were ever cut either only wires I can find would be for the optional heater. Thanks Jim

It would be a yellow wire that goes directly from the radio, through an inline fuse and to the ignition switch and attaches to one of the #54 terminals. 1970 cars (first to use a locking ign switch in US cars) had a yellow wire in the harness coming off the back of the ign switch and would have been taped off if no radio was installed.

Thanks that's exactly what I needed! I found a correct yellow lead with fuse that's 42" long so that should do it! Thanks for the info! Jim
