100 Liter Metal Fuel Tank – Fender Fill

100 Liter Metal Fuel Tank - Fender Fill Type

Reproduction of the 100 Liter Metal Fuel Tank (Fender Fill) used in 1964 – 73 Porsche 911 race/rally cars. We copied an authentic factory original tank regarding construction and appearance. This is the most accurate reproduction available. No changes were made to make it look modern in appearance.

    - The tank uses a brand new bottom tank from Dansk to ensure proper fit. We then seam weld a custom stamped top to replicate the spare tire hump of the factory 100 Liter Metal Fuel Tank. The filler neck and fuel vapor tube are transferred from the donor tank from Dansk to maintain the exact fit and finish as the factory tank.

    - Baffles are welded internally to minimize fuel slosh and starvation. This is beneficial for track and racing conditions or spirited runs on a back road.

    - The tank interior is permanently sealed with POR15 Tank Sealer to eliminate corrosion and protect the tank interior.

    - The tank is pressure tested for leak-free performance.

    - The tank exterior is professionally finished in factory black paint in a spray booth for a concours appearance.

The 100 Liter Metal Tank is carefully packaged and insured for shipping.

Price is $2800 USD, plus shipping costs.

Send me a PM or email for more photos and details.

Each 100 Liter Fuel Tank starts from a new fuel tank bottom with our own stamped top to replicate the factory spare tire hump. Each tank is professionally painted after assembly and coating of the internal tank walls for corrosion protection.

Order one for your winter project!

    Happy holidays to everyone.

I put one of Bert's tanks in a customer 's car last spring, the shipping box, fit and quality of tank, is all as promised. You have to experience the range of these 100 liter tanks to really appreciate them, no more fear of not finding a gas station in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere.

Bert's tank is the only reason I decided it would be okay to put 46mm Webers on my recent engine rebuild. Now I have the same range as 40 Webers with a standard tank.

Thanks for the kind words Ed. We made sure the shipping box is strong enough to prevent any possible damage. We put a lot of hard work to make the fuel tank pretty.

26.4 gallons of fuel will take you far.
