    1972 oil tank to body gasket

    I believe this gasket is NLA.....does anyone know someone making these?

    What makes you think it is NLA I think we just got one a month ago. And thanks for the little present,,,,,are these just part of a continuing series!!

    Stoddard said NLA...."Maybe I should try the Porsche part"....."grin"....I could not find the part number in the spare parts catalog...didn't see it in the body section or in the oil tank section

    I have a couple other years I might make up....I thought they would be kinda cool for cars of that year.

    This may be my mistake here, rereading this now I took it as the gasket for the oil filter and thermostat housing to body,,,,,but you meant the plastic cups that sit between the body and the tank I'll bet. They may be NLA,,,,I'll get on the case!!

    Nope, that's for the rear mount oil tank to body.

    Ed: Yes...the Stoddard link is for the clear shock mounts....I think those are the same for several years....I am speaking of the black rubber gasket that goes between the car body and the gas tank...where the filler neck protrudes into the cutout in the body.

    good eye 356 Hunter...I missed that thinking it was the gasket up in the cap...Thx.....now where to find one...
