Bay Area Air Quality Management District

Received this letter yesterday from the Bay Area Air Quality Management District:

"The registration on your model year 1968 vehicle is expiring soon. Please consider an alternative to driving this vehicle. You can receive $1,000 for your 1994 or older car, van, or pick-up truck from the Bay Area Air Quality Management District and help reduce air pollution. The Air District's Vehicle Buy Back Program buys and scraps 1994 and older vehicles."

Well sign me up, sounds like an awesome deal!

We lost soooooo many good, classic cars to the Cash for Clunkers program a few years ago. It was a tragedy.

I received the same offer for my 1931 Model A sedan. Someone needs to adjust their computer.

can you post a picture of the letter? My inlaws have an early 80's corolla to get rid of... that's probably more than they can sell it for.
