Silver/Chrome on inside of turn signal housings

Curious to see how folks are restoring the silver/chrome lining inside early turn signal housings.? My 71's housings are in very nice shape, but some of the silver lining inside is peeling. Anybody use the Rustoleum Chrome paint.? Sprayed some samples and it seems to lay out/dry very nice and shiny. Any tips appreciated, Thx

That's about all you can do unless your willing to fork out the big bucks to have them replated. I've been doing that (painting) for years with any light housing as all you want is a nice shiny reflective coating to highlight the lighting. But be prepared to repaint every few years as paint does hold up that well dulls over time. Chrome paint can not be polished either. It could end up being a routine job for an every day driver.

Thx Hopper, This is a nice driver, so if I have to pull the housings out in a year or two and get them done right, I'll do that. Paint might be the way to go in the interim. If anybody knows of any replaters out there that do vintage 911 housings, I'm all ears. Thx again
