Question Need help with fender well finishes

Thanks for your help, in trying to restore to factory specs my 73 coupe, my fender-wells have a black finish over the factory undercoating (tangerine) is this correct or should be Tangerine?
Thanks so much for your help!

Also if anybody knows of a reference book that describes correct finishes I would certainly buy it.

    slicktop,

Your '73 should have body color in the fender-wells; and in the trunk, and the engine compartment.

The amount of color that was sprayed varied, with the trunk usually getting the lest....

Lots of threads on this.... search is your friend

    Hope this helps
