    FS: Restored hose clamps

I have a handful of hoseclamps I had replated. $6 each. These are large in size, good for the fresh air system. 50-70mm OEM IMG_4922.jpg

It is yellow zinc. I am the one that gets them plated. Will have another batch in a week or so.

Detray Plating in MO ( http://www.detrayplating.com ) does a very nice job plating these and other P hardware in Yellow (Gold) or Clear (Silver) Cad.

They are "Military Spec" certified and don't loose the small parts.....

Brings up interesting question, I have been told yellow cad is hard to get done, so people are moving to yellow zinc...is there much difference, advantages or disadvantages between cad and zinc?
