100 Liter Metal Fuel Tank – Center Fill

100 Liter Metal Fuel Tank - Center Fill Type

We can also build a Center Fill version of the 100 Liter Metal Fuel Tank used in 1964 – 73 Porsche 911 race/rally cars. We copied an authentic factory original tank regarding construction and appearance. This is the most accurate reproduction available. No changes were made to make it look modern in appearance.

    - Our Center Fill fuel tank features a filler neck that can have a dog leg bend to meet the hood angle or a straight pipe. The filler neck can be made through the hood or under the hood based on client preference. Each fuel tank is made to order per customer specifications.

    - The Center Fill fuel tank also includes the correct Blau Cap with a 4 or 5 hole fin.

    - A Dog Bowl Catch Tray is also available separately that can be clamped or welded on to the filler neck to catch rain water.

    - The tank uses a brand new bottom tank from Dansk to ensure proper fit. We then seam weld a custom stamped top to replicate the spare tire hump of the factory 100 Liter Metal Fuel Tank. The fuel vapor tube is transferred from the donor tank from Dansk to maintain the exact fit and finish as the factory tank.

    - Baffles are welded internally to minimize fuel slosh and starvation. This is beneficial for track and racing conditions or spirited runs on a back road.

    - The tank interior is permanently sealed with POR15 Tank Sealer to eliminate corrosion and protect the tank interior.

    - The tank is pressure tested for leak-free performance.

    - The tank exterior is professionally finished in factory black paint in a spray booth.

The 100 Liter Metal Tank is carefully packaged and insured for shipping.

Center Fill Fuel Tank price is $3300 USD, plus shipping costs.

Dog Bowl Catch Tray price is $110 USD.

More photos of a tank that shipped to Florida. Note that each fuel tank is made to order. We can customize the filler neck or cap to suit customer needs.

We are currently making a center fill fuel tank with a shorter neck for under hood filling. The client did not want to cut a hole in his hood.

Contact me to discuss your needs.

Here is a center fill fuel tank for a client in Europe. He specified a locking Blau cap.

Cool Bert. Is that something that can be used on any of your previously made tanks, or does it need to be designed from the start to accept the locking cap?

    Cheers,

    Hi Mike,

I think it will fit a regular center fill neck, but I will confirm with my shop first.

    Thanks,

We're shipping another center fill fuel tank to a repeat client in Florida. This tank is a custom order with an under-hood filler neck. We can build a fuel tank to fit your project needs.

    See the attached photos.

100 Liter Center Fill fuel tanks were a common upgrade for race and rally Porsche 911 cars. Give your Sports Purpose car the right look.
