Those are Speedline wheels on it currently. I did get the original wheels with the car. But I just ordered a set of NF2 Novitec wheels for her. This 2 owner example is 1999 with 17,000 miles, but I need to perform a belt service on her, as the previous owner was playing Russian roulette with the motor...

when you put this car into Porsche perspective...for $75-100k..what does that get you in 911 guise? Not much anymore.
    Brilliant car.

(I think you are motivating me

Very nice GS. I too like the front engined late model Ferraris. We had a 456 for a while and that was also a very good looking car. Call me a sucker for those non-boy racer models. I have really liked the 330/365 GTC cars for many years when my contemporaries were hot for the mid engined cars. The only downside is that these cars can suck the life out of you financially unless you are not afraid to wrench on them yourself. I don't know if the 456/550/575 lends itself to that though.

So when I got my new hot rod home and in the garage, I began looking over the car's deficiencies...Upon opening the rear deck lid, I noted that the trunk weather seal was torn and missing chunks of rubber off of it. Seems stupid for someone to treat a 17,000 mile 550 Maranello that way, but obviously this car was not as important to them as it was to me. I went online to purchase a new seal and fell into shock...$545! I went back and looked at it again, and I couldn't see anything unique or unusual about this seal...but it did look familiar to me. And it did...it was identical to a 2014 Nissan Altima (I work for Nissan) trunk seal, but longer in length. I bought a new seal from Nissan for $53 and wa-la...it fits like a glove, only having to cut it shorter and butt the two ends together at the latch. A man running for his life would never notice Oh, and thanks Frank for the reminder...appreciate it

I've always loved the 550's and 575's. Nice acquisition!
