Weird oil leak at the fan belt pulley end of the engine

This engine has had a Tom Amon oil leak fix fitted. Works very well. But it leaks oil from the top of the case. It looks as if the oil comes up from the inside of the little hollow roll pin on the case that keeps the fan housing in the corrct position.

Does that make sense? Has anyone ever heard of an oil leak in this place?

It would be nice to remove the roll pin, clean the hole in which it resides, then fill the hole with JB Weld to seal it all up before re-fitting the roll pin. Could that be the way to fix it?

I know sealing the case this way is only a temporary fix, and that the proper way of doing it is to take the case apart and to have it checked, and all. But I would really like to get some more milage from the car before embarking on that project.

    Thanks in advance.
