    Daytona Meet Up

I know a few of us are heading over to Daytona for the weekend. We need to plan a meet up.

We can use the Vintage Motorsport display as a central point for getting together. We just need to plan on a time and day.

    Maybe dinner?

    Richard,
I'm in. Are you thinking Saturday?

I'm open to either Friday or Saturday.

Let's just say on Saturday. We'll see how many we get and then make a decision whether to just hang out or if we want to do dinner.

I'll be there but too busy driving to do a proper dinner. I should have about 3 hours between stints if all goes as planned. Be well!

The cars were simply beautiful at night with all the track lights on. The rumor is they might do it again in 2 years.

Sounds good. Hopefully more cars in each session. Watching less than dozen cars in most sessions. The group 'F' was the best it had a large group of HSR cars running. The announcers were terrible, most people could not understand anything they were saying. Why wait 2 years. Cars will disappear, some drivers will be gone. Get the interest up and the format worked out, then do it every 2 years. Don't let the drivers or spectators lose interest so soon.

I watched the race with some friends from England. They were complaining that they couldn't understand the announcer. They said it was the northern British accent that was the problem.
