901-911 early alumium woodrim steering wheel

I have for sale a very rare 1964 901 steering wheel. This wheel was first produced with an aluminium frame with the woodrim bonded on top the same as the later steel framed wheels. These wheels were only fitted to the very earliest cars produced in 1964/65 but were soon superceded to the steel frame version.Probably due to cost. This wheel is in very good condition. The varnish is good, the black painted spokes are in original finish. The horn button is original with the correct embossed centre pad with chrome ring.It can of course fit any SWB 911.
This wheel can be inspected anytime. It is located in London UK.I am asking £3,000 GBP but am open to sensible offers.
