    FS: Refurbished Bosch H1's

    ** SOLD **

This pair is a mix of old and new.

    22.jpg

    • Reflectors - Original
    • Housings - media blasted, painted with high temperature paint
    • Lenses - new Bosch
    • Lenses Gaskets - new
    • Chrome Trim Rings - Original
    • Adjustment Screws - new with nyloc nuts
    • Fender Mounting Gaskets - new
    • Adjustment Instruction Labels - reproductions
    • Bulbs - new, 55w/100w
    • Bench Tested

I rate these lamps as driver plus quality, maybe a 3+ to 2-. The reflectors are original and in excellent condition other than perhaps some loss of reflectivity over time**. The chrome trim rings are original with original chrome. I'm sending 25 trim rings off to be rechromed and these, although not perfect, were the best two of the lot.

$1,085.00 plus shipping (and PP fees if any)

    Thanks,
    John

** I'm planning to test the reflectivity of various H1 reflectors soon: NOS, replated and used. I'll publish the results here.

I'll take a look at my inventory and see if I have the bits I need to assemble a second set in comparable condition.

Edit: All of other reflectors I have are in need of replating. I anticipate completing three fully restored sets in about three months - price on those will be about $1,600 a set.

    Cheers,
    John

I am awaiting your reflectivity tests! I have some H1s but dont want to use them if they will never work better than my near NOS H4s.
resilvering vs other methods are also of interest.
