    1972 rear bumper front chrome cap attachment?

    there is a chrome cap on the front side or the rear bumpers. it has 3 holes and from the parts breakdown it is to be fastened with 3 rivets.
    Looking at the bumper what do the rivets attach to? are we missing some pieces?

    I think the cap you show with the finger is for a SWB bumper.

    Should be two rivets.

    One on the face towards the front of the car, and one on the side.
