Cool FS: 1970 2.2S engine-- San Jose Ca

With much reluctance I am offering up my 70' S motor for sale out of my 914. Offered at $15,000
    Engine serial number: 6301335
Compression numbers: (Motor inspection was performed in June by Don Wise Autowerks in Campbell Ca)
140 <----- My Porsche mechanic said these higher numbers are probably carbon
    132
    127

    122

Previous owner said that the engine was rebuilt in 2005 with the following details: (unfortunately documentation was misplaced)

    Align bored
    Oil squirters installed
    Shuffle pinned
    Time certs
    New chain/ramps/bearings
    New rings
Crank turned and drilled for oiling

Only tiny leak is more of a seep from the oil cooler. Just enough to slightly moisten 1" of the header after driving it. This was a track car, and therefor could not be allowed on the track with oil leaks.

( No MFI included, MFI shroud or engine tins)

I am still driving and enjoying the car on occasional weekends, so I can't get the most fantastic photos ( like on an engine stand). I can take additional picture as you request.

Shipping is at the expense of the buyer ( I may need advice as to the best way to pallet it)

    PM if interested.
