    FS: @eBay - 914-6 Met Green

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/141464071890...=p2041548.m738

Looks like 6's are getting strong. Cool color but they missed a lot of details.

I guess many don't know that DOT decals are attainable?

Also kind of weird that they forgot the fuel expansion tank.

    And...

regarding whether you slather on the black around the upper front shock mounts or not? Let this be a lesson of what it looks like if you leave the tar but don't paint them black.

Very STRONG money and still one day left.

    NOS heat exchangers?
At least it has a titanium battery.

Yep. Red-Headed step child for WAY too long.

It's about time they started heading North.

Not all the early ones had an expansion tank. My friend bought his new and no tank. Just like early 911's there are always variances.

Do you have pics of that?

I've never seen a 6 that had the mounting tab on the fuel tank but no exp tank.

Maybe exp tank was part of US fuel vapor recovery system only?

I don't have pics but I know he's not the only one. There's a thread on world that notes the differences between the 4's and 6's and it is mentioned once or twice. I think George Rudd mentioned it as well on his car that was trucked in to the last pca event. I also saw an origional 6 with a factory leather interior special ordered from Porsche. Not listed as an option but porsche has been known to do special wishes if the buyer pays the tab.

Got to spend some quality time with The Blue Car this fall on a Gruppe drive to WV and back. Really came to love the driving feel even if it is a bit cramped for long distances. This one is steadily creeping up the "keeper" scale.

My /6 came without the extention, too. It stayed all it's life in Germany.
