    Thumbs up 901 shift knobs.

    One nice 901 knob with spider cracks in the pattern, nice black finish and lock collar installed. $79.11 shipped in the cont, Us.

    One decent patina 901 knob with spider cracks in the pattern with a dull finishh and no lock collar installed. $39.11 shipped in the cont, US.

    Reading your listing, I saw you mention a "lock collar" installed. I have a '68 911L and my shift knob only has a compression collar holding in (relatively) in place. But it moves around and has occasionally come off in my hand with some "spirited" shifting!

    My knob isn't drilled with any holes for a locking screw - is this shift collar something I can add to solve my problem? Thanks for any help on this!
