    Help on a door latch

    Car is a 1972
Red door came off the car so is probably 1972
Blue door is long nose door to replace the rusty red door
    Latch supposedly came from 1972
Problem: neither the red door latch or latch from internet fits the blue door. Hence I'm guessing the
blue door is NOT a 1972. Does anyone know what year this door is so I can get a latch correct for the door?
    Thanks in advance.

No effective difference in latch nor door openings between SWB and LWB here... trick is to move the latch 'cam' to 'engaged' position - as if it were latched closed. To do that, turn the latch cam away from the outward-facing part of the latch (clockwise on driver's door) and you'll feel it click twice. Only then is it ready to slip through the latch hole in the door.

Latches are all the same effectively as said above. It does seem your blue door is a left and your red door a right...
