    FS: Weber 40IDF Carburetor Conversion Kit

    Genuine Weber kit made in Europe. Kit contain necessary parts for installation, carburetor, manifold, adapter, linkage and air cleaner. They were installed on a 356 B engine for approx. 1000mls. So they are near new! Price incl. shipping

    That kit is available from Pierce Manifolds in California for $717.45 US including all the necessary gaskets. Adding almost $500.00 to the price for a used set (sans gaskets) may be a bit much, don't you think?

    Jim,

    befor writing any post here you should check your statements. You get the Webers alone without anything else for 720. All other parts are not included there.

    I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that English is not your primary language, so click on the link posted here and you will plainly see what Pierce Manifold includes in their kit. Yes, the carbs are included in their price of $717.45.
    I got a kick out of your use of the term "made in Europe".
    Why not just say they were made in Spain?

    Now I need to point out to you that I have been around the block a few times and I am very familiar with these kits.
    I do not like them, but that is not the issue here.
