    67, 68 911S Pressure Plate

Going through some inventory today when I stumbled upon a Sachs 901.116.003.00 pressure plate on the shelf. It also carries the 3082 183 344 part number. Lord knows how long we've had this pressure plate. Searching the net it appears this disc may have had a copper face as delivered from Porsche? This unit does not. Can someone shed some light on this "pressing" situation . Was the non-copper variety what Sachs delivered at some point?

Indeed 67/68S pressure plate should be copper plated, as the flywheel. The non copper alu pressure plate is for 69S. I have to check my part number.

I have the same for my 67S, but I don't have any PN number on it (no part number on the orignal one too).

Is it the actual Sachs Performance (88-3082-999-741)?

The actual Sachs number on the plate is 3082 183 344. I think you may be able to make it out on the first picture. Couple other numbers on there that may be a production date.
