Restoratin of tail, and signal light`s

Before I start to restore my light housing I want to have advices from you how to do it.
Is blasting with glass or soda the best.
    How to paint the reflector?
If its a tread please let me know.

    Ha det Stig,

Just be careful with blasting, the alu housing is pretty soft and most likely oxidized around the bolt holes. It gets thin very easy. You can try paint thinner on the inside and use of plastic scraper to get the paint of. Then a layer of white paint and leave it like that or try silver/alu whatever paint but you will never get a shiny finish as per factory. There are profi's that can spray/damp silver but it is very expensive.

Rustoleum makes a "chrome" spray, did some tests and looks pretty good, don't know if it will hold up long term.? Rustoleum paint in general is pretty good stuff, have used various colors on other cars

    Hi Cees,
Your Norwegian vocabulary is quite impressive, but you made a little mistake here.. "Ha det" means goodbye. You could write "hei der" (hello there). If you want to get into the advanced stuff I can send you a list with popular phrases like "hallo gamle ørn" (Hello old eagle) if you want to greet and impress an old buddy like me!

I lightly bead blasted first. I filled any problem areas with JB Weld. Then I sprayed the interior with Rustoleum primer, white, and then Chrome paint.
It is holding up well after 4 years now.

What the "other" Sully said, that is the exact route I will take when I do mine.
