    So easy, David? The Swabians have the same reputation like the scottish people - to be penny wise to stingy. Why should they repaint their tool inside? Why in these colors? Because the had left some paint buckets of the old Gulf times? I doubt. Unfortunately Klaus Bischof never answered my mails, I have to try again..

    One additional information and another small mistake in the video: Buster was the third and newest O317 Porsche transporter. The order confirmation from Schenk to Porsche with all the details is dated on Nov 12 1968. Buster was licensed in Stuttgart in April 1969 for the first time. Very likely the mercedes chassis was built in 1968, but the transporter itself was built by Schenk in 1969, not 1968.
