    Automatic Membership Renewal !!!

If you haven't figured this out yet, the Registry has an Automatic Membership Renewal Option.

Just go to the Membership Renewal 'SUBSCRIPTION' option on the membership page:
    http://www.early911sregistry.org/mag...scription.html

And your type of payment (card or paypal) will be changed automatically year after year.... pretty cool

    Holiday Cheers,

    Hey guys....

We responded to your request for an automatic renewal option... 'no having to remember membership expiration dates... bla, bla, bla'

Hi Chuck, last year I renewed for 2 years so if I update today to Auto Renewal will I get charged twice next year?

Or should I simply wait till next year to make the change?

    Tim,

    I'd wait for next year....
However, I find out for sure by asking Fred Trueman at:

Cheers and thanks for your support,

I'll wait it out until next year Chuck.

BTW, have you ever considered offering a "One Time Payment" to become a "Life Time Member"? Or am I asking too much from these folks

Tried to find it in the boutique, but no success yet.

Well, I renewed for 2 years the old fashioned way. By paying for two years up front. The problem with a CC and annual renewals is that the CC is usually only valid for 3 or 4 years, so at some point its going to be declined and there has to be a way of notifying the member to update their info. Probably better than Fred having to nag people, but not the panacea one might hope for.
