    100.00 Bribe, er.....Finders Fee

Ok, when all else fails, offer money! I've been searching, AND searching for a specific pic of a long hood exterior hood hinge, NOT the deck lid exterior hinge. I've seen it a few times over the last couple of years (never bookmarked it ) can't find it now that I really need to. I've been through ALL 775 pages on the random 911 thread on the Bird, but maybe it's here on the S, but didn't see it. What makes it unique is that it's cross drilled out. From what I also remember of the color pic is that it shows the hood open and resting on the windscreen in a pit type setting. It is NOT the Larousse ST car, I have pics of that already. You can clearly see the hinge. I've (crudely) drawn below what the hinge looks like. The first (top) pic is a side view interpretation. Here's the deal, the first one to find and post in THIS thread, no PM's, the right pic showing the hinge will get 100 bucks via paypal or check, your choice. I hope someone finds it...
P.S. This is also posted on Pelican under the same title.

You need to find a picture of Kurt Zimmerman's old car, Sloopy II. He has those hinges on the car.

I did some searching and can't come up with anything, but it's your hunt and not mine so I'm giving up.

But that's where you should look.

Dave/Marco, those aren't the hinges I'm looking for. The yellow car is the Larousse ST and the hinges on the red car are cool but not what I'm trying to source. If they are found apart from this thread, I'll post here. Thanks!

The photo your looking for is in the epic sized thread of CurtEgerer's. Sport purpose or racing photos. Was before the satanic photos and the Rally photo threads got started. I cant even find the thread right now. Iam sure someone else will come up with it to nab the REWARD. The photo is in the first 1/2 of that thread. Better look than the one that Strech and Marco are referring to. Oh if this was enough to win the prize, I'll just take a set of the hinges when Ya get around to making them .

I went through all 182 pages just now. I found a lot of cool photos I hadn't seen before and some cool cars I hadn't seen before which gave me some inspirations, but I did not find the hood hinges in question. It is possible I missed the picture but there were a lot of broken links on the older posts and some of the photos got lost when the forum was upgraded a couple years ago.
