    Beautiful work. Why is the metal shiny at the end, is that clearcoat to stop flash rusting?

    You probably know that that fender has the 68- tabs in the bucket which interfere with the mounting of '65 lamps. Judging by the number of holes in the bottom it looks like a supercede replacement part. But how wide is the lip on the inside of the flare, maybe it's from a '68 also?

    304065 the shiny metal you see is just wax and grease remover just used as a high lighting fluid.

    the right hand fender will need minor modification to make correct-good eye!
