Very Happy with my Al Reed Fuchs

Just got my wheels back from Al Reed and I am very happy with the results back to original anodizing & black paint. I have always used Harvey in the past but his lead time (8 to 10 months) was too long for me to wait. Al was 6 weeks!

Great looking set of FUCHS , Mike.

As owner of both artisan's works of perfection, I am truly grateful there are folks like Harvey Weidman and Al Reed who do this line of quality restoration.

Thanks for sharing your pictures Mr. Fitton !
    Best Regards,

They look beautiful, but I thought the ball seats should not have paint?

Nice. I have a set of Al Reed wheels, as well as, sets of RSR finish from Harvey. Can you show us a pic or two of the back side of the wheels?

Al has done a set of deep six's as well as a set of 5.5's (on shelf appreciating nicely) for me in the past, as well as mounting tires on alloy wheels for my daily driver's. He's the best and his team are really nice people. If you're lucky enough to be local to his shop, I encourage you to stop by and get to know him. He's an incredible guy.

Ok, got my Al Reed wheels mounted 5.5 x 14's and I went with the Goodyear 195/70/14 from tire rack, very happy. Had my 2.7 engine pulled and some work done at Perfect Power locally. Had the engine and trans cleaned and degreased, they replaced most of the seals, gaskets and oil lines, so fixed all of the leaks. Rear flares are going back to stock in early spring along with some paint work. Just took it out for a nice drive today here in Chicago, might be it for awhile snow is coming this weekend! ****I do have the original matching 2.0 engine sitting in my garage**
