Good luck John! As I'm sure you know they're a one year only car - 1983, last yr of the SC's and first yr of the cab since '65. 84 on were Carrera's. Tough to find in xlnt cond. Check with Mohr Imports, they had a nice blue one awhile back. I, like you, had the same parameters but a very low mileage red/black one came on the market and I jumped at it. Happy hunting!

I put a WTB advert on PCA and found a 65k miles all black 83 cab. Had to pay up for a good specimen with all the reliability upgrades. Good luck with your search!

There is a red 83 cab in Ebay right now which is low miles and looks to be in very nice condition with toolkit, manuals, and large stack of receipts. Might be worth looking at.
