    Value question

I'm going to make an offer to a friend with a very beautiful 911T....but I don't know the actual 911T market price.

What do you think it's the value of this 911T ?

    2.2T coupe
italian car with original plates and document
2 owner (first from new to '80s, second from '80s to now)
silver with black interior (standard seats)
    100% original interior / exterior....never repainted
    matching number
    70.000 km, 100%original (45.000miles)
always stored in box, completely rust free

I don't have photo of the car but it's in very very very good condition!
(I would like to buy it...not to resell it and make a bargain)

    thanks

Piruelo, it's rare for period silver to have lasted this long. If it is in fact original silver paint, my guess is that US value would be $60+ depending on details.

    US wholesale value: $60-$70k
US retail value: $60k-$90k depending on condition of paint, etc.

    "only" 60$ ?
so....why this one for sale at EC is 150$???
This one has only 23.000miles vs 45.000miles of my friend.

Does a difference of 20.000miles value is +90$? wow

Can't comment on EC's car... Sounds high, but what do I know... I agree with the estimates above. I have a 72T in perfect shape (with the cool 72 oil door) but not as original as the one you mentioned (repainted, rebuilt engine). I insure it for 60. I might bump it to 65...

P:S you sound disappointed... It's good news for you, isn't it ?

I'm not disappointed....I only think that there are some crazy price on the internet, real money are different IMHO

I will try to buy the car if he thinks to sell it.....we will see!

Yeah... prices are all over, and most are "asking price". If a nice T is now $100K, someone please tell me, I need to call Hagerty again...But I kinda doubt it.

OP, I hit the hagerty site for a 71T (2.2) and got:
    AVG: $52K
    Cond #1 $95K
    Cond #2 $69K
    Cond #3 $53K
    Cond #4 $36K (all rounded)

Now a lot of folks think their car is Cond 1 (or 2) after a resto but they seldom understand what that really means.
