A very light restoration to correct some very minor details, a quality repaint in original light ivory and engine detail and that could be a $400k+ car easily the way prices have been going.
If I was the current owner/dealer and looking to sell I'd spend $40k on it now and get it into the next big Gooding/RMA auctions in the Spring...
Nice car.
I know of a similar early number car becoming available soon.
PM to discuss.

'. . . This is a 1965 Porsche 911. It is being sold by Musante Motor sports in South Windsor CT. It has 49,300 original miles. It runs and drives. The original Solex carburetors where recently cleaned, fuel lines were replaced, and the brake calipers and master cylinder have been rebuilt/replaced. The engine has good compression and runs great. The 5 speed 901 transmission shifts in all gears and is in perfect condition as well as all other drive train components. The car’s interior is in great condition with no rips, tears, or major scratches. All electrical components work including gages, and lights. The paint color on this car was originally light ivory, but it has been repainted. The paint is in poor condition due to scratches, and pitting but there is no visible exterior rust. The exterior trim is in great condition with only minor scratches, and pitting. All glass, and rubber trim are also in great shape. The undercarriage of the car is clean but does have some prior owner amateur rust repair. There are some small metal repairs in the lower rockers, and there is rust hole in the front cross member area. This is a very solid and rare car that would make a perfect restoration candidate or a great long term investment . . .
