KYB is junk so definitely not OE on Porsche. My guess is that strap was used to keep the shock compressed during shipping and the installer left it in place while installing and then cut the string to let the gas pressure extend the shock.

I have 1 rubber+ metal tube mounted on the top of the shock upwards in the tower room to the engine room , and in the engine room 1 rubber + 1 big washer + nut.
1 have about 10mm visible thread now after i have tighten the nut?

Lars, I should have taken a peek at a set when I was at work yesterday to see if Koni gives a torque spec. I'll check on Monday. Ed Mayo may chime in here but I've just always used my "calibrated arm" to snug these things up and get some squish to the rubber bushings on top.

Big nut on top of lower half of strut = 90 ft lbs
Nut on top of strut tower to chrome part of strut = 60 ft lbs - most of us just use an impact gun and TLAR it. If you can find a spanner to hold the notched washer then you can torque it. I've seen folks use a channel lock on the washer - oh the horror.

I'm with Jason,,,,,I hold the shock top with with the appropriate wrench, then turn the nut with a ratcheting box end wrench. There is a spacer tube on the shaft so you really can't over compress the rubber. It will feel tight enough before you get to that point.
