Whats is this motor worth? Need help.

    Hello 911s,

Cleaning up my dads old shop and need to clear room. I don't know much about the motor other than my dad bought it about 8-10 years ago for a project (never did). I am not sure if it left the original car running etc…

Any idea of worth? Thanks a bunch, Tim S.

What's the engine number (stamped at the right base for the fan)?

That looks like it is a 911E 2.4 liter (unless someone has cut the cases for 2.7 liter barrels... )

The pictures show an old 911 engine in need of a lot of work.

You can state the number without a picture (it's not easy to photograph). I'm good with a 1973 2.4L?
