FS: 1984 Track Race Car - Lightweight, 3.4L Fully Sorted

Helping sell this for a friend. Clear Colorado Title. For sale is a very developed race car that has been active and successful in PCA. The cosmetics are a bit long in the tooth, but where it matters, this car has it, and that is really the expensive part of the equation, and what matters - this car can be taken to a track, started and run as-is and be fast. Last run in Spring 2014 with PCA. This is easy to drive fast.

Engine - 3.2 built into a 3.4L. 12:1 compression J&E pistons, ported heads (fresh top end), Dual Plug, GE80 Cams. Carburetors were 46IDAs, but have been re-set up with 40IDAs for more mid range punch. LARGE ex-Nascar front center mount oil cooler.

Transaxle is a 915, with rare factory oil cooler and limited slip differential, close ratio gears (builder still looking for most recent gear sheet for this trans, will post when I get it). This trans has been resealed recently.

Body - Fiberglass 964 style. Pictured without bottom spoiler scraper. Fiberglass has obvious wear and tear from years of use and loading and unloading, etc. This is where it can benefit most - a few fresh pieces and some TLC and the car would be a looker. All windows are lightweight plexiglass, including the windshield.

Brakes are 944 Turbo - more than needed for such a light car, even at it's speed. Suspension is fully threaded body coilovers (I believe Bilsteins but need to double check). Comes with set of wheels shown and another set.

Asking $48k. Happy to put into contact with the owner for serious parties

Car is currently at a shop, so easy to put in the air for a PPI, etc.
