    Literature Question for the experts

I "think" they began using this service directory book in 1969 or 1970. How long was it in use and are they marked with a publication date?

    TIA

Actually, now that I look at it, The correct one for 1970-ish would have had the VW logo as well as the Porsche, so this must be later.

Yes, starting in late 1969 it was VW Porsche. These are RoW items. The one above could be 1977 or 1978ish, btw.

These Dealer Service booklets served the RoW (Rest of World) area and included dealer adresses in Europe, Scandinavia, UK.
Earlier versions (66ish) included even worldwide adresses including the USA, CAN, Japan and Africa.
Many editions existed over the years and only the printing date gives clear indication which year it was published.

Unlike USA Dealer Adress booklets which changed each year -or even twice a year- and got many changes in graphic designs, RoW Dealer Service booklets essentially looked the same from 1965-1973 and only 2 or 3 cover types are known.
They got printed in Germany. USA only were printed in the US.

    .

This is the earliest RoW, in use from 1963-1964/65ish.
    Red cover w red typo.
Btw 356C' s had one w the same styling but black cover red typo.

This is the later RoW type, in use from 1964/65-1968ish.
Several editions. Shown below is 2/1966 edition.

This the third RoW type, in use after 1969.
Several editions. Shown below is 3/70 edition.
