what does SPM mean in Model collumn of Parts catalog ??

Could someone tell me what "SPM" means in the Porsche parts catalog ?
    i.e. what is the difference between a 1970 2.2 T SPM and a 1970 2.2 T ?

Thanks already for anyone helping me with this.

    Hi David,
I also thought so but on some references the Sportomatic is mentionned but not SPM. I could not find a part number ( list from 1970 to 1973 models) with Sportomatic and SPM mentionned together...
Additionally, most parts with SPM model reference are electric system related parts.
So i am still confused !

after looking at my parts manual I'm more convinced that it stands for Sportomatic. Look at the gear lever for a Sportomatic clearly SPM.
