Hi, please help with identifying these, thanks

I'm pretty sure I've seen these on 914's? I was wondering if they were used on 356 or early 911/912 variants? They are marked, photos show, thanks.

they are 73 and earlier 914. They won't fit any other Porsche.

Thanks Jim... do you know who produced them? I have a VERY nice set of 4. I am going to clean them up and offer them, just want to be sure to describe them and their application correctly first.

    I don't know, nor do I care.
They are from a steel wheeled 914, for heaven's sake!
They are the same hub cap that came on VW bugs at the same time. The VW ones say VW on them, though. I looked through my inventory of useless, sale proof, hubcaps and could only find one that had any markings on it. It is shown in the picture. I have no idea what it means, though. Probably some kind of a date stamp, though.
I'm convinced that the manufacturer wanted to remain anonymous.
When people start asking me for 914 date stamped hubcaps, I going to throw my hands up and quit!

    Regards

    Jim
