    help ID age range of rear fog light

    trying to determine if this is era appropriate. lens does not have the "tear drop" as seen on some early (SWB ?) units. housing is metal.
    any help appreciated.

    Mid 70's-ON. Not the correct lense for the early cars up to 73. Housing is essentially the same though there were minor changes that allowed a slight increase in the wattage compared to the earlier units.

    When did they go from chrome on the back to black? The front Bosch fogs went from chrome in '74 to black in '75.

    From the factory, don't rightly know for sure but, for sure by 76, factory offerings were in black case. Straight from Hella, the chrome was still available albeit with the later lense like above.
