Which one? There are three different RHD door mirrors in 1974/1975:
1. Chrome Durante (UK market)
2. Australian "golf club" style, black only
3. Australian/Japanese style mirror, black and chrome (see above photo from mrar)

Correct, the standard LHD mirror did not have a RHD version...hence all the variations for different markets until 1976 when the electric flag mirror was introduced.

John,
Porsche are now making a slightly larger one (than the OEM LH door) for the RH door.
If you don't need a show car, then this is ok for a driver and gives safer/bigger view than the large round Durant.
PN is 911 731 014 07.
.... mrar - that Mexico blue sure looks like my '74 S,now owned by a prominent Sydney 911 racer ....

Wim, your part number 911 731 017 21 is the "golf club" style mirror. I'm not sure exactly when it was fitted (74 or 75), but it can be found on Australian 911s during that time. It looks like there are some markings on the bottom of your black mirror, what are those?
The second photo of the blue Carrera has the other style mirrors found on Australian and Japanese 911s.

Btw, I am looking for some photos of the golf club mirror to include in my book. Does anyone have some photos they took of the mirror on a 911 that they would be willing to allow me to publish?
