Bergporsche: pm sent on shipment to Holland
21window: I took your 'look like 74' and tried the circle late hub caps and no luck, they don't fit. Look like this pair uses the 3 prong, and they fit perfectly.

With my eye I can tell they are late 71 wheels, he right, 3 prong.

They have been polished and the sharp lip has been finessed a bit, so you are looking at it wrong.

Hmmm . Then I guess I have learned something today. I always thought flat 6"s started in 74. Always thought all cars thru 73 used deep 6"s.

So the rennlist chart I posted with the "00" part number is wrong?

Nuh flat 6's started as STD in 71 I believe and they had 00 part number

Your posted chart just says early 6 x 15 were deep dish which is correct and later "flat" 6x15 had 00 part number which is correct plus later again 6 x 15 had the 10 part number from 1/75

I would query the last bit as I am sure 74 model wheels had 10 part number too...but maybe not, they certainly were different to the previous 6 x 15's though.

11/71 date means 72 model wheels too not 71

Just when you thought you knew everything about early 911's...

Good luck with your sale. Sorry to hijack your thread a bit.
